Karen P. Miller, as the Director of Exhibits for the National School Boards Association, is responsible for all planning and logistical aspects, as well as overseeing the sales and marketing for NSBA’s annual conference’s exposition. NSBA represents 95,000 school board members nationwide and is the primary provider of educational opportunities and vendor information for this group.
Karen has been with NSBA since 1998. She started at NSBA as the executive assistant to the executive director and found her career niche when she moved to the Conference and Meetings Department as Exhibit Services Manager. In subsequent years she was promoted to Exhibits Manager and Director of Exhibits.
Karen has been involved with IAEE since 2001 by serving on various Chapter and National Committees, as well as Chapter Board positions of Secretary, Director of Special Events, and Vice-Chair.
Karen holds a bachelors degree in English from The Catholic University of America in 1993, and she received her Certification in Exposition Management Designation in 2004.
Karen is married with an eight-year old daughter and two-year old son. In her free time, she enjoys the good life by travelling to beach destinations, wine-tasting, dining out, and spending time with her family and friends.
