Greetings!  Summer is over; Fall is upon us and Winter is coming!  This will be my final communication to you as Chair of the DC chapter.  Let me start by saying that it has been an honor and a privilege to serve this GREAT chapter and the wonderful people in it.  

Our journey this year has been full of adventures, new experiences, highs and lows.  Through it all this chapter has been supportive, generous, responsive, and caring.

I would be remiss if I did not express my sincere “THANKS” to the outstanding members of the chapter’s Board of Directors, to our Chapter Administrator, and to the many committee volunteers for 2017.  You all made my role as Chair “easy!”  

To the many chapter members that called or emailed me with suggestions, support and encouragement – I again say: “THANK YOU.”

I hope to see you at our upcoming November luncheon which will be our final luncheon of this year.  I will be introducing the NEW 2018 Board of Directors.  Also:  I hope you are all getting excited for Expo Expo in San Antonio later this month.  I’ll be there – Will You?

Lastly, to our incoming Chair Dede Walsh:  I wish you well, and will always be a phone call away.
