Description: Provide valuable and unique sponsorship and advertising opportunities to associate members through research, surveys and industry standards & achieve budgeted revenues that are aligned with the chapter goals and needs. Collaborate with board members and committees to create value add opportunities for partners and sponsors
Eligibility:
- Member in good standing
- Willing to give the time, energy, talents and enthusiasm required of the position
- Good organizational skills
General Responsibilities:
- Assist chapter in achieving budgeted revenues through the promotion and solicitation of sponsorship and advertising opportunities
- Develop strategies to establish strategic partnerships with chapter members (industry supplier members)
- Monitor association and meetings industry trends to discover best practices in strategic alliances by other organizations
- Work with appropriate committee to develop and/or manage strategic alliance programs
- Develop sponsorship and partnership program benefits to promote to members
- Identify sponsors for educational programs, social events and special event activities
- Identify individuals that would potentially advertise in newsletters and websites
- Work with Chapter Administrator to ensure that sponsor benefits fulfilled
- Ensure all sponsorship/partnership documentation and applications are up to date and accurate
Time Commitment:
- Regular attendance at board and/or committee meetings
- Attendance at chapter annual retreat
- Attendance at chapter activities and functions
- Commitment time (1-5 hours per month)
