IAEE DC May 2024 Program

From: May 15, 2024 to May 15, 2024
From: 11:30 AM to: 1:30 PM
Hotel AKA Alexandria

May 15, 2024 | 11:30 AM-1:30 PM ET

No matter how much you love your job, there will always be challenges to overcome. For example: even though most exhibitors/sponsors mean well, nobody's perfect and it's up to you to make the best of any bad situation.

So, what do you do when exhibitors don't read your emails (let alone respond to them) or sponsors don't sign up until the last minute (but expect you to accommodate every request, on top of your many other pre-/during-show responsibilities)? What about the exhibitors who sit and stare at their phones, but later complain that there wasn't any traffic – how do you handle that?

Come to the IAEE DC May meeting so you can lean on the experience of your peers and the expertise of our favorite trade show trainer, Robyn at Exhibitors WINH.

In this fast-paced, interactive session, participants (like you!) will:

• Identify the top challenges that your peers are facing with their exhibitors and sponsors today

• List several “solution categories” to give you a starting point for overcoming these challenges, along with any other related challenges you may face in the future

•Brainstorm actionable solutions to the challenges identified; collaborate with your peers and get input from Robyn too

Note: CEM's you will earn 1 CE for this session

  • I am a member of IAEE, and particularly the DC chapter of IAEE, because it is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences I have ever encountered in this Industry. My membership with IAEE has taken me to places that I only dreamed of! Because of IAEE, I have been able to teach CEM classes all over the country and in other parts of the world! The Networking opportunities and the camaraderie of belonging to the DC chapter are HUGE benefits of membership. If I had to prioritize where to spend my “marketing dollars,” my first choice would be with IAEE.

  • I have been a member of IAEE for over 30 years, starting with the early NAEM days, to IAEM, and now through IAEE. Throughout this journey, the DC chapter has provided me with invaluable networking opportunities and educational experiences thanks to the incredible peers I've encountered. My interactions within and beyond the chapter have significantly contributed to my growth and have played a crucial role in shaping me into the successful professional I am today at Freeman. Freeman has collaborated with the local chapter in various capacities, and we have greatly valued the opportunity to support and work alongside such exceptional leadership. Our shared commitment is to deliver the highest quality service and education to our customers, incorporating the latest trends and data to ensure mutual success.
