Exhibitions Day, now in its fourth year, raises awareness of the exhibitions and events industry among federal legislators and is an opportunity for direct engagement with members of Congress and their staff to help foster a greater understanding of our industry and the impact it has on their states and districts, as well as the impact of key policy issues. SCHEDULE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) Tuesday, 6 June 4:00 - 5:00 pm Registration (Liaison Capitol Hill) 5:00 – 8:00 pm Orientation followed by Reception (Liaison Capitol Hill) Wednesday, 7 June 7:00 - 10:00 am Continental Breakfast (Liaison Capitol Hill) 7:45 am Shuttles Begin (all attendees from the Liaison Capitol Hill) 8:30 am Appointments on Capitol Hill Begin! I am a member of IAEE, and particularly the DC chapter of IAEE, because it is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences I have ever encountered in this Industry. My membership with IAEE has taken me to places that I only dreamed of! Because of IAEE, I have been able to teach CEM classes all over the country and in other parts of the world! The Networking opportunities and the camaraderie of belonging to the DC chapter are HUGE benefits of membership. If I had to prioritize where to spend my “marketing dollars,” my first choice would be with IAEE.
