Jessica Finnerty is the Manager of Meetings and Events with the Auto Care Association. Her role entails working on the production and promotions of association trade shows, conferences and exhibitions, most notably, the Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX), a Gold 100 show held annually in Las Vegas. Finnerty earned her associate’s degree in general education at Montgomery College and her exemplary academic performance was awarded with an international summer scholarship to the University of Cambridge in England, and a full scholarship to the University of Maryland where she earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in communications and marketing. She entered the world of exhibitions and events in 2009 and in 2012, she completed her certification in Exhibition Management and was awarded her CEM. In 2015 she was appointed as a volunteer member of the IAEE Expo! Expo! Advisory Counsel, serving as Committee Chair in 2017 and continuing as a volunteer member to this day.
