Description: As a Board Member at Large, you play a pivotal role in steering our chapter towards achieving its mission, providing strategic oversight, governance, and leadership. You will collaborate with fellow board members to ensure financial health, effective governance, strategic planning, and execution of the organization's objectives. Your passion for our cause, along with your professional expertise, will help shape the future of our organization and impact the community we serve.

- Willing to give the time, energy, talents and enthusiasm required of the position
- Good organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in strategic planning sessions to guide the future direction of the chapter.
- Engage in fundraising activities and events, contributing to the chapter’s financial goals.
- Represent the organization professionally within the community to enhance its public image and expand outreach.
- Attend and participate in all board meetings, committee meetings, and relevant community events.
- Assist in the identification, recruitment, and orientation of new board members.
- Provide oversight and support for chapter committees and initiatives, as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's programs and services.
- Act as an ambassador of the organization, promoting its values, mission, and programs within the community.
- Actively involved in at least two committees throughout the year and provided support to the committee chair and board liaison as necessary.
- Actively participating in International Chapter Leader Volunteer Insights Hours, Orientation and any other program that is initiated from International.
Time Commitment:
- Regular attendance at board and/or committee meetings
- Attendance at chapter annual retreat
- Attendance at chapter activities and functions
- Commitment time (1-5 hours per month)
