Director of Program Content

Eligibility:

  • Member in good standing
  • Willing to give the time, energy, talents and enthusiasm required of the position
  • Good organizational skills

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual education plan in accordance with chapter strategies and goals
  • Research current education trends and topics pertinent to the industry and report findings to the Board of Directors
  • Provide educational content and speaker ideas including creation of session title and descriptions to include learning objectives
  • Provide speakers with the information on how we are currently delivering our monthly meetings including venue, parking details and platform capabilities (if applicable)
    • Will act as a conduit to balance the needs of speakers with the capabilities of the venue/platform
  • Main contact for speakers
    • Coordinate delivering speaker slides, polls, etc. in timely manner
  • Works with Board of Directors: Chair, Communications, Marketing and Logistics
  • Works with Director of Logistics on ROS

Time Commitment:

  • Regular attendance at board and/or committee meetings
  • Attendance at chapter annual retreat
  • Attendance at chapter activities and functions
  • Commitment time (3-5 hours per month)

Director of Program Logistics

Eligibility:

  • Member in good standing
  • Willing to give the time, energy, talents and enthusiasm required of the position
  • Good organizational skills

General Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Luncheons:
    • Create and manage ROS with Director of Content
    • Works with Chapter Administrator to obtain Sponsor logo, video, etc.
    • Works closely with production company to use platform that works best - work closely with Director of Content and Chapter Administrator
      • Keep all involved informed with accurate logistic information
    • Ensure that production company has all slides and scripts from Chair and Director of Content
  • Onsite Luncheons:
    • In addition to the role for virtual luncheons
    • Develop, implement and manage Venue RFP process for all educational programming
    • In conjunction with Chapter Administrator, Assist with travel arrangements for speakers as needed
    • Perform site selection and provide opportunities to Board of Directors for approval, as needed.
    • Coordinate all logistics including menu selection, audiovisual needs, room setup requirements, and hotel arrangements.
    • In conjunction with Chapter Administrator, Assist with travel arrangements for speakers as needed
    • Create and manage event timeline
    • Develop specs and manage onsite logistics
      • Make sure ROS and scripts are completed
      • Work with Director of Content regarding audio visual needs
      • Work with Chapter Administrator regarding onsite logistics (registration setup, etc.)
      • Work with Director of Sponsorships to incorporate any sponsor deliverables
    • Reconcile expenses
