Description: The committee is responsible for supporting and to elevate young professionals in the industry by providing focus on the needs of those who are at the beginning of their career paths and to provide a social and professional support network
Eligibility:
- Member in good standing
- Willing to give the time, energy, talents and enthusiasm required of the position
- Good organizational skills
General Responsibilities:
- Identify young professionals within the chapter membership, determine their needs and expectations and develop initiatives specifically designed to meet their needs
- Identify young professionals to serve in volunteer leadership roles with committees, task forces and councils
- Recommend educational, networking and other programs to the chapter
- Develop new initiatives designed to attract, engage and retain individuals of diverse backgrounds and interests
- Contribute to and support IAEE’s student outreach efforts aimed at raising awareness of the value of IAEE membership and recruiting student members
- Promote the IAEE “Talk the Talk” membership campaign with other young professionals within the industry to promote the value of IAEE membership to increase the overall awareness of the organization and the industry
Time Commitment:
- Regular attendance at board and/or committee meetings
- Attendance at chapter annual retreat
- Attendance at chapter activities and functions
- Commitment time (1-5 hours per month)
