We do not provide or sell your personal details to third parties unless you have registered with IAEEDC in order that advertisers and/or third parties can offer you information, goods and services that may be of interest to you.

We reserve the right to disclose information about demographics to advertisers, but in anonymous aggregate form only.  IAEEDC will not reveal your personal identity in connection with the disclosure of such information.

IAEEDC may contact prospects and customers by email with electronic newsletters, or as part of one of our promotions.  The newsletters are sent out to the email address you have supplied. All our email correspondence includes an unsubscribe option.

What information do we collect and how do we use it?

We collect information on our customers through membership, registration, subscription or via list collection.

Registration data collected will include details about your company and the products and/or services you provide.  We may also ask some further, voluntary questions so we can gain a clearer understanding of our customers.  Your responses help us to provide you with relevant information in our publications, as well as to sell appropriate advertising space.  We do not share this “additional” information with third parties unless you have consented to this.

This information is stored by our data processors and us.  We may employ external companies to act on our behalf as data processors for internal business purposes.  Data processors will abide by the Privacy Policy detailed here and will not disclose personal details to any other organizations or use data other than for purposes required by us.

Your California Privacy Rights

Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits those customers that are California residents to request that we not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing for personal, household or family use. To make such a request, please send an email with your request to dparks@sla.org.

We reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate our systems properly and to protect our customers and ourselves.  We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of publications other than our own that may be mentioned.
